Hazel Hebden reported that we had 4 new members Tony White, Bryan Thompson, John Walker and Jackie Walker (who was a returning member).

Bill White had been in touch with Ken O'Hagan who now lives in a nursing home. He has frequent contact with his family and sent his regards to everyone.

Bill had been in touch with Chris & Judy Cottam and as most members were  aware Judy is really very poorly  and has no communication. Along with Chris, who is devoted to her they have a live in carer so that she has someone to help  24/7. As there have been a lot of bereavements and members being unwell Bill has been busy sending flowers and presents to the poorly and flowers or donations to the bereaved.

14. AOB

Centralisation of venue. Gordon Harper suggested that we give it some thought as there were pros and cons to consider. It was decided we would revisit it again at next reunion.

After a member became unwell over the weekend it was put to the membership by Mike Mooney that we should do more of a risk assessment when looking at venues. First question should be do they have a defibrillator, second do they have  a qualified first aider on duty at all times. Also to make a note of members  who have emergency first aid qualifications.

Beverley to make enquiries about buying a defib machine or hiring one.

Dave Aldous asked that everyone communicate a bit more and keep club updated on contact details.

Chris Abbott said thanks to everyone and that he had enjoyed talking to David  McDowell.

Pete Weedon had a message from Bill Sheppard thanking the club for all their support, cards and good wishes and hopes to see us next year.
