Cockerton country park is approx. 450 acres with 3 ornamental lakes and historic manor house with craft centre and studios, blacksmiths and lots more to see. A chocolate box village, delightful thatched cottages and a quaint 11th century church. It is less than a 1 ½ drive from the hotel and for the young and fit guys and girls can even be reached by a walk along the front, just look for the sign pointing to the country park
